Experience the adrenaline rush of skiing through untouched knee deep powder and pristine mountain terrains in complete privacy and serenity. When yo are done, the helicopter whisks you back to the most luxurious accommodations, service and cuisine in Revelstoke, BC, Canada.
During the booking process, the Property Manager will assist Chalet guests in confirming all heliadventures during their stay. To maximize your time out in the snow, your Butler can assist with making arrangements for packaged lunches and snacks.

The wonderfully welcoming town of Revelstoke is located 641 km (398 mi) east of Vancouver and 415 km (258 mi) west of Calgary at an elevation of 1,570 ft/480 m in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. It has a year-round population of approximately 15,000, with that number increasing during the winter season. The town center, with its unique shops and restaurants, is a short 10-minute drive from Flying Moose Chalet.
Revelstoke Mountain Resort
Revelstoke Mountain Resort, which is just a five-minute drive from Flying Moose Chalet, offers incredible heli skiing opportunities and was named the No. 1 Best Kept Secret Ski Resort in North America by FlightNetwork in 2017. That same year, the resort was ranked No. 2 Ski Resort in Canada by Forbes and No. 8 Ski Resort in all of North America.
The resort benefits from the tremendous amount of fresh powder that Revelstoke receives each winter—12 to 18 m (40 to 60 ft) annually! Revelstoke Mountain Resort is unique in offering exceptional heli skiing plus cat and backcountry skiing all from one base. The resort features 75 runs, the longest being 15.2 km/9.5 mi, and 4 alpine bowls, and operates 1 gondola lift (seating 8), 2 chair lifts (seating 4) and 2 Magic Carpet conveyors.
Getting Here
There are several options when traveling to Revelstoke. Three airports are located within the area and our Property Manager and Booking Agent can assist you with planning the best route.
Ground and Helicopter Transfers
As you book Flying Moose Chalet, our Property Manager and Booking Agent can assist with arrangements for ground and heli transfers from the airport. We can also help you make ground or heli transportation arrangements during your stay.
Revelstoke Airport
The nearest airport to the Chalet is Revelstoke Airport (YRV). In winter, Pacific Coastal Airlines operates direct flights from Vancouver 2-3 times a week. Alternatively, a private charter can fly direct to Revelstoke. Note that winter weather conditions frequently impact the ability of aircraft to land in Revelstoke.

This airport is a better option for guests wanting to avoid any possible weather disruption at Revelstoke Airport. Kelowna International is a 2.5-hour drive from Revelstoke.
